The goal of the level one books is to introduce simple sentences in Hindi and to build an initial vocabulary. These books use the character of Aamoo, a mango who goes through many different adventures. Each story consists of simple repetitive sentences. On each page of the books, the topmost line provides the sentence in Hindi. Immediately below it is the transliteration of the sentence in English. If the transliteration line is read in conversational English, the pronunciation would be similar to the one in Hindi. The line at the bottom of the page translates the sentence in English.
